Diana is originally from Powell, Ohio. She has been serving in Mexico for 27 years under GFA. She arrived at the Mount Horeb Bible Institute in March of 1980 where she had language classes, helped in the office, taught choir and went on weekend extension. In 1983 Diana and Julia Garst moved to Tamazunchale, Mexico, to help in a church planting ministry.
During the 21 years in Tamazunchale, Diana taught children's classes, Sunday school, English, flute and piano classes and had a children's choir and a youth choir.
Diana and Julia felt led of the Lord to move to Tampamolon since the Tamazunchale church had a national pastor, Sunday school teachers, and two flute students who could take over the music. In Tampamolon Diana has been active in visitation, teaching the ladies, teaching Sunday school, teaching flute and piano, and helping in VBS and youth camp. She regularly teaches music and English in the Bible seminary that started in September 2006.
