Then Jon Crocker will highlight the special temptation missionaries face in staying outside the “one another” circles that are essential in faithfully following Christ. Distance from our “sending network” along with other factors unique to each circumstance can combine to lead us to isolate ourselves. The dangers of isolation are inestimable. God’s plan for keeping us from being “hardened by the deceitfulness of sin” includes having people in our lives who can come alongside and encourage us to cling to Christ (Hebrews 3:13). Do you have people in your life who directly carry out the “one another” passages for you? Do you carry them out for others?
