Battle praying anticipates Satan’s attack, puts on the armor of God, stands firm, and prays (Ephesians 6:10–18). So what are Satan’s key ministry targets? Our walk as described in Ephesians 4 through 6: things that threaten unity, pull us towards conformity with our culture, threaten our love for others, are dark instead of light, and attack family and work relationships. Commit to prayer as part of your job description as a Great Commission laborer, learn to ask what Satan could be doing in a situation, pray with alertness about what God may be doing, formulate specific petitions about what you want God to do, and teach your people to expect battle in the five areas of our worthy walk.
