Do we have a godly view of old age? What examples do we have in Scripture of older believers bearing fruit in old age? In this session we considered the example of godly widows devoting themselves to prayer (1 Timothy 5:3–16). We also looked at some examples of modern day prayer warriors. We know the ministry of prayer is significant. How can we encourage older saints in supporting churches to consider devoted, intentional prayer as their retirement focus?
