How would you best describe the Thessalonian church? This new and growing church plant persevered in faith amid persecution, demonstrated genuine repentance, and brought the apostles much joy. Although it was a thriving church, it still had problems—even serious sin issues such as sexual immorality. This session examined Paul’s heart toward the Thessalonians and how he discipled them with boldness, integrity, sacrificial love, and an exemplary lifestyle.
