Every believer understands the painful reality that passion to share the Gospel sometimes falters. This lagging fervor might display itself in a failure to take advantage of a clear opportunity to proclaim Christ. In addition to these individual occasions, many experience longer periods of time—days, months, even years—when “eager” does not even come close to describing their attitudes toward evangelism. Even true disciples of Christ (and even missionaries!) sometimes lose the consuming urgency to give the Good News to others. Praise God that He can restore that passion! This session will seek to discover some causes of the loss of evangelistic desire and to see how the Holy Spirit uses His Word to renew eagerness in evangelism.
