Presenting the Gospel in an Honor-Shame Culture

Monday, November 11, 2019 | Guest: Joseph, Rachel, and Gretchen |

Hospitality opens the door for sharing the Gospel with international students, the mission field right at our door. Many of these students are from cultures that think differently than we do as Westerners. So how can we share the Gospel with them? Listen at Marshall Fant interviews Joseph, Rachel, and Gretchen about presenting the Gospel to people from honor-shame cultures.

Joseph and Rachel recommend the following books as helpful resources: Questioning Evangelism: Engaging People's Hearts the Way Jesus Did by Randy Newman, Cross-Cultural Conflict: Building Relationships for Effective Ministry by Duane Elmer, Evangelism in a Skeptical World: How to Make the Unbelievable News about Jesus More Believable by Sam Chan, and Foreign to Familiar: A Guide to Understanding Hot - And Cold - Climate Cultures by Sarah Lanier.
