What is culture shock? What will it feel like? When will it stop? Is there anything that will help? Transitions from one culture to another are enriching, exhausting, exhilarating, awesome, and exasperating. In many ways a person is reduced to the level of a child and will struggle with navigating legal, financial, relational, spiritual, practical, and emotional aspects of life. Understanding cultural differences, the complexity of our emotions, the sinfulness of our own hearts, and our need to come to the cross for forgiveness will help us navigate these transitions well.
