Through personal relationships with regional directors, frequent visits to the field, and monthly ministry reports, GFA maintains close contact with missionaries to enhance accountability between laborers and supporters.

To uphold a high level of financial stewardship and ethics, GFA is audited annually by an independent auditor.

Administrative Assistance

GFA helps churches screen missionary candidates for potential representation and support.

Support levels for missionaries are based on projected living and ministry costs for each field. Monthly financial reports ensure that missionaries are properly cared for. When requested, GFA supplies supporters with appropriate missionary support information.

Education

GFA’s website provides a wealth of information about missionaries, missions philosophy, and needs around the world. Commissioned is a blog of thought-provoking articles about every aspect of missionary life and ministry. The Sowing & Reaping magazine, published twice a year, highlights thematic discussions of missionary topics and the necessity of prayer. The weekly Prayer Focus shares specific requests in the following areas: ministry outreach, missionary care, laborers, world awareness, discipling leaders, home office, and strengthening our base. People on a Mission, a quarterly newsletter, highlights missionary stories, blog articles, videos, and prayer and giving needs.  

Two communication pieces are designed for those interested in missions. Published bi-monthly, Take the Next Step shares videos of how God called specific missionaries to missions, specific opportunities for service, and blog articles. Medicine as a Vehicle for Evangelism, a quarterly newsletter, focuses on GFA's medical missions program with videos, stories, blog articles, prayer and giving needs, and upcoming medical mission teams.
