Bio
Frank and Cyndy Snyder have been in full-time pastoral ministry for over 44 years. During this time the Snyders have served four churches in rural, suburban, and urban settings. Frank earned a BA in Bible from Bob Jones University and an MA in Bible exposition from Pensacola Christian College. He has also completed several courses at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Frank has served on church staff in the areas of youth ministry and music and has served in senior pastoral ministry since 1979. He is committed to an expositional approach to preaching.
In conjunction with his pastoral responsibilities, Frank has served as a jail chaplain as well as departmental chaplain for both the Hazel Park, Michigan, Police Department and the Michigan State Police. He also served as a board member and chairman of a Baptist crisis pregnancy center for over 18 years. He is the author of the book, Truly the Signs of an Apostle.
Cyndy has been an active pastor’s wife, serving in many capacities in local church ministry. She also served for 13 years as the director of a Baptist pregnancy center ministry in Pontiac, Michigan.
Both Frank and Cyndy are heavily involved in music ministry in arranging and performing both instrumental and vocal music. For many years their family traveled and sang, doing acapella concerts in the United States and on mission trips in Ireland and Thailand. Cyndy plays piano and arranges both instrumental and choral music. Frank sings, plays trombone, and plays and arranges music for classical guitar. He enjoys hunting and fishing. Both Frank and Cyndy enjoy hiking together. Frank and Cyndy each earned first degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do and for several years taught self-defense and escape strategies for women, teen girls, and senior citizens.
Frank and Cyndy were high school sweethearts and were married in 1974. They have five adult children and 19 grandchildren.
