Rob and Cyndi count it a privilege to serve with GFA in the Atlantic provinces of Canada. They met in 1994 when Rob visited Cyndi's home church on deputation as a single missionary. When they met, Cyndi had recently completed her degree in nursing at PCC, was working as a private duty nurse, and was serving as the pianist in her church. They were married in June of 1995 and have been serving the Lord together in the Maritimes since 1998. The Lord has blessed them with three daughters: Hannah, Priscilla, and Alyssa.
The Moodys began their missionary service in Canada in October of 1998, never anticipating the extent of ministry opportunities the Lord would give them. Over the last 21 years they have served the Lord in every province in Atlantic Canada: Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Their goal has always been to evangelize, plant, and strengthen Bible-believing churches in this region of the world. From 1998 to 2009, they participated in church-planting ministries. From 2009 to 2016, they served the Lord in a Bible institute ministry helping to train the next generation of servant leaders.
Currently they are serving in Minto, New Brunswick, in a church rescue ministry where Rob is the missionary/pastor of Bethel Baptist Church. The Moodys' primary goal as missionaries is to help this church become a self supporting work with a clear testimony for Christ.
