After graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1975, Dr. Jack Mitchell was involved in a full-time private dental practice for 12 years until God saved him in 1987. From that time until 1996, the focus of Jack’s dental career changed to a combination of dental care and spiritual ministry in nursing homes. In 1996, God led Jack and his wife, Jennifer, to start Grace Dental Mission (now Grace Dental & Medical Missions), a full-time ministry partnering with church-planting missionaries and national pastors around the world. The Mitchells have since conducted evangelistic dental and medical clinics in over 30 different countries as well as on Indian Reservations in Arizona. Jennifer serves as Jack’s dental assistant on these ministry trips. In addition, they have provided dental care for several hundred individual missionaries. In 2019, God led the Mitchells to join GFA Missions, where Jack serves as the Medical Missions Coordinator. Jack and Jennifer Mitchell have two married children, both faithfully serving the Lord through their local churches.
