Bio
Bill and Susan Knipe, both originally from NJ, met at Bob Jones University while attending graduate school. They served at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina, where Bill participated in the Undershepherds in Training program for two years.
The Knipes began their ministry in Africa in June 2006. Bill taught at Central Africa Baptist College in Kitwe, Zambia, and planted Immanuel Baptist Church in Kalulushi, Zambia. In 2012, the Lord led them to Cape Town, South Africa, to minister among the Afrikaans-speaking colored people.
The Knipes worked at a church plant in Delft, South Africa, where they met two young men from a nearby town that did not have a good church. In 2016, the Knipes began ministering in the city of Ravensmead and Grace Baptist Church had its chartering service in 2018. Bill also enjoys teaching with fellow missionaries at Oostenberg Bybel Instituut.
The Knipes are blessed with four children: Jonathan (2004), Anna (2007), Joel (2009), and Matthew (2011).
