Bio

Scott and Sue Goodwill were married in 1979. Following Scott’s graduation from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, the couple set their sights on preparing for the ministry of the Word. Scott graduated from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv in 1985. God opened doors for them to serve three local churches together for more than 35 years in the spirit of “Pursuing Faithfulness to the Word and to the Life of the Body,” a motto which eventually became the website banner of Berean Baptist Church, where they last served in Lafayette, IN. Prior to that ministry, they served in Granada, MN, and Marshfield, WI.

The Goodwills stepped back from full-time ministry in October 2020 and relocated to Greenville, SC. In 2021 they began serving churches through GFA’s Interim Pastor Ministry. As of 2025, they have served in interim ministries in western Maryland, northern Wisconsin, South Carolina (Charleston), and Virginia (Richmond). They are thankful the Lord has given them this ministry.

Scott and Sue have five children and twelve grandchildren.
