Bio

Bill and Glenda Davis work alongside the Mutzke family in Heidelberg and are involved in both church and school ministries. Bill's church involvement includes regularly-shared preaching, teaching the adult Sunday school class, holding young adult meetings, and biblical counseling.

The Davises both regularly disciple new believers and train others to evangelize and disciple others. Bill and Glenda began a children's church ministry and were able to involve and hand it over to the Germans. A special joy for Bill is helping men in their teaching and preaching in Sunday school, children's church, youth group, young adult meetings and Wednesday evening meetings. Another joy is the opportunity to give motivational Reformation Tours in Heidelberg and Worms to many visitors from other countries.  For many years the Davises also helped organize and execute the church's winter ski retreats.

The Davises are extensively involved with outreach ministries through monthly distribution of gospel tracts and other literature in downtown Heidelberg. They have also organized and participated in school Christmas programs and monthly nursing home ministries.

They consider it a privilege to minister to students of the University of Heidelberg, Germany's oldest University and home to students from many nationalities.

Bill serves on the Christian school board, oversees building maintenance and purchasing, and supports the Mutzkes by counseling and advising teachers and parents. For two decades Glenda and school parents put on the "Teacher Appreciation Banquet" at the beginning of each school year so the graduating class could spoil their teachers royally at least one night of the year.

The Davises have seven children. Their oldest, Heather, married Jason Armstrong on May 15, 2010. They were GFA missionaries to Monterrey, Mexico, and are now serving at Trinity Baptist Church in New Hampshire where Jason is Pastor for Administration. Jason and Heather have a two sons and two daughters. Dawn married Keith Lewis on May 15, 2009. Keith is currently working in Tucson as a configuration analyst, and they are very involved in their local church.  They have three sons and a daughter. Crystal married Joel McAllister June 19, 2010. Joel serves as an assistant pastor in Brighton, CO and also also works Homeoffice part-time as an accountant. They have three sons and a daughter. Heidi married Loren Crisp May 12, 2014. Loren serves as an elder Indianapolis, IN. They have two daughters and two sons. William married Marianne Block (a German) March 28, 2015. They are living in Germany with their three sons. William earned his wings as a flight attendant for Lufthansa on December 27, 2016. In addition, in 2021 he started his own real estate company in Germany. Anna married Abdias Barrios May 23, 2021.  Abdias is youth pastor in his father’s Spanish church near Atlanta, GA, and he also works full time as a master barber. They have a boy and a girl. Carolina married Jonathan Woetzel on October 22, 2022. The Davises are thankful for the many years of joyful, willing service their children had while serving with them in Heidelberg.
