Bio

Wayne and Helen Golson both graduated from Bob Jones University and have served in vocational ministry for 53 years. They provided leadership in positions such as Minister of Youth, Visitation and Music, Home missionaries, Assistant and Associate Pastor, and for 29 of those years as Senior Pastor. Helen taught in Christian schools after all their children reached school age.  

In 2009, the Golsons joined GFA’s Interim Pastor Program through which they assisted churches in North and South Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, and Vermont. They consider their 11 years of service in the interim program as some of the most gratifying and spiritually challenging times of their ministry lives. 

Wayne and Helen are blessed with four children and 10 grandchildren. Their two sons are in ministries with their families, one in Africa and one in Asia. Their two daughters are in the United States, where one is a Life Coach and the other is married to a pastor/university professor.
