Bio
Darcy Anderson grew up in a pastor’s family in the Midwest. At the age of twelve, she came to saving faith after speaking with her mother one Sunday evening. While studying English education at Maranatha Baptist University, the Lord burdened Darcy to be willing to serve in full-time ministry. After completing her bachelor’s degree in 2017, Darcy taught for one semester in a local Christian school before the door opened to serve short term in the Philippines.
From 2018 to 2020, Darcy worked with the GFA missions team in Quezon City, primarily assisting in homeschooling but also tutoring and teaching English at Bob Jones Memorial Bible College and ministering in the music and children’s ministry at Gospel Light Baptist Church.
In 2020, the Lord closed the door for Darcy’s return to the Philippines and led her to visit Rhosllannerchrugog, Wales. Since September 2021, Darcy has been working short term with veteran missionaries Joshua and Rachel Roberts, assisting in the music, children’s ministries, and various outreaches of Grace Baptist Church. In July 2024, Darcy was accepted by GFA as a career missionary to serve full time in Rhosllannerchrugog, Wales.
